During podcast interview gooppresented by Gwyneth Paltrow, Johansson opened up about finding Murray unexpectedly after years of filming Meetings and Disagreements. “I didn’t see him for a decade or more. It was a long time. And then I walked into a bar with my ex-boyfriend from a long time ago… and there was only one person in the bar and it was Bill Murray,” remembered.

“It was so weird. I walked in and saw him sitting there – no one else there – and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I had to leave,” continued the actress. “I was like, ‘It’s the Bill! I haven’t seen him for so long.’ It had been a decade, more than that. So I thought, ‘Okay, I guess I’ll have to go see what’s going on.'”

It was such an awkward moment. It was like a dream. And so I went there and he was surprised too. It was actually kind of therapeutic. We kind of talked during that time.

I think his way of dealing with it was to be a bit manic. I don’t know, we had a cathartic experience in that weird bar.
