New police series for Canal+
This Monday evening, April 24, Canal+ launched its new Original Creation BIS. A detective series reminiscent of two other programs of the encrypted channel: brave (2009-2016) and gears (2005-2020). However, in this realistic fiction created by Jérémie Guez and Erwan Augoyard, it is about the research and intervention brigadea unit specializing in organized crime.

Within this Versailles BRI, we follow a small team made up of Sofian Khames as leaders and young Ophélie Bau, Théo Christine, Rabah Nait Oufella and Waël Sersoub. At the beginning of the series, we discover Bruno Todeschini in the role of Patrick, who gives way to Saïd after his retirement. And from the very first episodes the tension rises as two clans oppose each other: the El Hassani brothers and the Perez gypsy clan.
BIS start strong!
BIS obviously his debut was not missed. The series, entirely produced by Jérémie Guez, has attracted a good number of Canal+ subscribers for the airing of the first two episodes. “BRI registered the best audience for an original Canal+ creation for 4 years“announced the channel in a press release and on Twitter via Maxime Saada, CEO of the Canal+ Group.
We regret that Canal+ no longer gives precision with the figures. However, this announcement allows you to get an idea of the success of BIS. To be seen if the public will remain present during the eight episodes. At least that’s what we can recommend, the series gains intensity with the episodes (see our review).
We will obviously have to deal with the end of the airing of the first season but with these beginnings, BIS it may very well become a major new channel program. Something to delight everyone in the production, starting with the actors who have not skimped to prepare the series.
BIS will follow on Canal+. The first episode is available free at My channel.
