The Flash: Early USA Returns are dithyrambic

The flash : Next segment of the DCEU

Directed by Andy Muschietti, The flash is one of the last remnants of the DC Extended Universe (EUEC). Ever since James Gunn and Peter Safran were named heads of DC Films last October, the two men have been cleaning up the DCEU. They were notably separated by Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson who camped respectively Superman and Black Adam. They also have renamed DCEU to DC Universe. The flash is meant to serve as a transition between the old and new DC universe in cinema.

A few days ago, some of the journalists present at the Las Vegas CinemaCon had a chance to find out The flash in special screening. The special effects of the feature film are not yet fully defined, but Warner has decided to distribute the film to a handful of lucky ones. Warner seems to place enormous faith in Andy Muschietti’s film. And obviously, the company has done both well the first returns are dithyrambic.

First dithyrambic returns

A series of tweets then emerged on the web. The journalists and influencers in attendance sing the praises of The flash and highlight in particular the inhabited performances of Ezra Miller and Michael Keaton, who signs for the occasion his big comeback as Batmanmore than thirty years later batman challenge. Here are some of the best feedback:

The Flash is pretty awesome, and now I understand why DC didn’t scrap it. Michael Keaton is… beautiful. I didn’t realize how much I needed Keaton’s Batman in my life. There are some really moving moments. Sasha Calle is amazing, I want to see more!

YES. “The Flash” is as good as the rumors say. It’s “Back to the Future” meets “Spider-Man: No Way Home” with all the humor and heart of the former and the action and surprises of the latter. If anything, it’s perhaps a little too ambitious, but it’s also incredibly satisfying, heartwarming, and entertaining.

THE FLASH: Much crazier than I expected. It really is what it feels like to read a 5 issue crossover comic. Lots of Ezra Miller in a wacky style with time paradoxes. Nerds will eventually lose their minds. And at the beginning and in the middle. Comics!

Yes, “The Flash” is pretty awesome! It offers unique, exciting, funny and creative moments that I haven’t seen in millions of other superhero movies. It made me smile from the Warner Bros logo at the top of the screen and I also enjoyed the references to movies I still don’t like.

Damn, “The Flash” is cool! It’s super inventive both visually and narratively. The dynamic of the two Barry Allens is crazy. The emotions hit me hard, solid surprises, and it made me want to watch it again and I’m really looking forward to seeing how they handle the sequel. Good game.

“The Flash” is very good. If this is the last we see of Keaton and Affleck’s Batman, they leave us in style. Miller is great. No post-credits scene.

‘The Flash’ is undoubtedly one of the best superhero movies of all time. I kid you not, “The Flash” is the ultimate cinematic experience because it has a little bit of everything! Action, emotion, heart, humor and lots of nostalgia. Ezra Miller is phenomenal double him Barry Allens. Michael Keaton and Sasha Calle are also very good. This is a movie that audiences will watch again and again. Oh, and avoid all spoilers for this movie because there are some truly amazing surprises that will really blow your mind. Can’t wait to see it again!

I don’t know what else to say other than ‘The Flash’ delivered more than I could have hoped for. The acting is beyond brilliant. Keaton delivers everything you’d expect. Supergirl is my new favorite superhero. I’m really amazed that this movie surpasses even the hype around it. I didn’t expect that.

“The Flash” is great. I know Ezra Miller made a lot of mistakes, but he’s so good in this movie. I loved Keaton, the action, humor and emotion. Andy Muschietti has designed something special. Thumb up. WB did not show the post-credits scenes.

I just saw “The Flash” at CinemaCon. It contains things you won’t believe and showcases much more of Barry Allen’s powers. It truly is one of the best DC out there and perfectly bridges the gap between old and new DCEU franchises. It’s also the funniest DC movie.

I didn’t know what to make of the hype before ‘The Flash’ but WOW. The movie is a blast from start to finish. It’s hilarious and exciting and moving and amazing. What a great way to kick off the next chapter of DC films. Very excited!

DC The Flash is HUGE! Forget DC, it’s hands down one of the best superhero movies ever made. Always. Inventive storytelling, GREAT action sequences, excellent cast. SO many details. At the end I was in tears. Everything you expect from a superhero movie and more.

BELIEVE THE HYPE! Christopher Nolan film aside, “The Flash” is the GREATEST DC film of the last 30 years, which belongs in the same conversation as SUPERMAN 78 and BATMAN 89. The film opens an incredible new path in superhero cinema and honors the DC tradition of past years.
