Rob Reiner Responds to Being on Russia’s Ban List

Rob Reiner responds to Russia’s “forever ban” with 962 other prominent Americans.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced a travel ban on Saturday in response to sanctions against the country after its devastating invasion of Ukraine on February 24.

The list mainly includes political figures such as President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as many current and former members of Congress.

The list does not particularly include former President Donald Trump, who has praised Russian President Vladimir Putin in the past.

Two other famous Hollywood figures on the list are producer and former Walt Disney Studios president Jeffrey Katzenberg and Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman.

Freeman is specifically mentioned for taking part in a 2017 video about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, although the reasons for Katzenberg’s involvement are not cited.

The list also includes several deceased politicians such as former Senator John McCain and former Senator Harry Reid.
