Kate Moss on Wednesday recalled the incident in ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp’s libel trial against Amber Heard, during which the actress received medical treatment from a supermodel after she fell when they were a couple, breaking Hurd’s account of the incident.
“When I left the room, I ran down the stairs and my back hurt,” Moss said. “And I screamed because I didn’t know what was wrong with me and it hurt. “He ran to help me and took me to my room and gave me medical help.”
Depp and Moss were together from 1994 to 1998.
Moss became embroiled in a legal battle when Heard had a falling out with Depp, during which Heard defended his sister, Whitney Henrikes, who also supported Heard’s accusations that Depp was abusing him.
“I just saw my little sister at the bottom of the stairs and Johnny walks over to her,” Herd said. “I don’t doubt and I don’t hope. “I immediately think of Kate Moss and the stairs and turn to her.”
Herd added: “In my relationship with John, I didn’t get hit. I hit him the first time, he really hit me in the face.
While witnessing remotely from London, Moss disputed Herd’s third-party report of the incident at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica. He denied that Depp had chased him down the stairs.
Moss did not elaborate on the episode, such as when it happened or his relationship with Depp. His testimony only lasted a few minutes after Herd’s lawyers decided to question him.
Moss was only able to testify about Depp as a denial witness because Herd first brought him up. Benjamin Chu, Depp’s attorney, clenched his fist enthusiastically as Herd opened the door for Moss’ deposition.
Depp was arrested in 1994 after police called the Hotel Mark, where he dumped a hotel room during an alleged altercation with Moss.
