C. Tangana goes back in time with “Estrecho/Alvarado”

C. Tangana celebrates the fifth anniversary of “Avida Dollars” with the release of “Estrecho / Alvarado”, his new single.

Time passes, yes. And although it may seem unbelievable, “Avida Dollars” is five years old and has already become a modern classic of Spanish music. To celebrate, C. Tangana is bringing back the album that marked a turning point in his career and in all of Spanish rap.

And he does it with a little surprise like “Estrecho / Alvarado”, his new single with pablopablo.

In 2018, “Avida Dollars” brought together some of the best Spanish producers of the moment – with names like Steve Lean, Lost Twin, Danni Ble, Enry-K… – as well as international references such as Colombians Sky and The Rudeboyz . to create the perfect soundtrack with which C. Tangana gave free rein to a versatility that has since become his indisputable personal trademark.

The result was a collection of songs for which time seems not to have passedwith already emblematic singles such as “Llorando en la Limo” -double platinum disc in Spain, triple platinum disc in Chile, platinum disc in Argentina and gold in Mexico-, and which remains today as one of the the most emblematic titles of his career. .

As a final touch to this reissue, comes the new title “Estrecho / Alvarado”. A single produced by pablopablo, which can also be heard on the vocals accompanying Pucho, and whose title refers to the district of Madrid where he lived when he recorded his first songs.
