Jason Statham has yet to face the sharks
In 2018 Jason Statham had been strong in In troubled waters confronting each other a megalodon, a prehistoric shark twenty meters long. The tone was enough to get us interested in Jon Turteltaub’s film and Statham had done the rest to keep us entertained watching this utterly uninhibited delirious entertainment. Following the film’s success (over $530 million in worldwide box office receipts), a sequel was commissioned. Title In (very) troubled waters (The Meg 2: The Trench in VO), the feature film is unveiled with a first trailer (video in an article) even crazier!
The video begins by taking us back to prehistory. We are reminded that for 65 million years one species ruled the world. How it looks a T-Rexof course we think Jurassic Park (1993). Only, there would be bigger than the famous dinosaur: a giant shark that goes to swallow the animal (as at the end of Jurassic world Moreover).
In (very) troubled waters it looks (very) fun!
It is obviously this great beast that Jason Statham will have to face. Actually three! After the discovery of a prehistoric ecosystem, Jonas returns to lend his expertise as new creatures escape and prepare to wreak havoc. Clearly In (very) troubled waters it will be fun and limitless. It doesn’t matter if the special effects (on these images) aren’t so successful. And even more the unlikely situations that the film will offer us. It’s exactly what you’d expect. And so chances are we won’t be disappointed!
Note the amusing choice of Warner Bros. Per the French title. Playing on the wacky side with this simple addition of “(very)” to the title of the first work. Which already bodes well for a third film “very much trouble”. Waiting, In (very) rough waters will be discovered in France August 2 in theaters.
