The cast of Cockroach juice 2 continues to expand
In 1988 Tim Burton presents his second feature film: cockroach juice. Featuring an aesthetic that clearly bears the hallmark of its director, the film centers on Adam and Barbara Maitland, a couple of ghosts who observe the new inhabitants of their home until they decide to remove them. When they realize that all their efforts to achieve this goal are in vain, they ask for help of the bio-exorcist known as Beetlejuice.

If the film was released thirty-five years ago, Tim Burton decided to return to the same universe. Why he is currently preparing his sequel. At the moment nothing is known about the plot of Cockroach juice 2. But many cast members have been made official. We already know that Michael Keaton and Winyna Ryder will play Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz, respectively. Catherine O’Hara will also be one of the returning actresses. On the side of the new ones, Jenna Ortega will play one of the main characters while Justin Theroux will take on an unknown role. And a new face has just joined them.
Monica Bellucci will play the wife of the cult character
As we learn The Hollywood Reporter, Monica Bellucci will also be there. Unlike Theroux, we know which character he’s going to play. If her name is not yet known, the media assures that the Italian actress will slip into the skin of Beetlejuice’s wife. Burton will then introduce us to the one who shares the life of the character played by Michael Keaton in this sequel.
Cockroach juice 2 already has a release date, as Warner Bros has revealed that the film will hit US theaters September 6, 2024. As with most movies, it should land then two days earlier in France. Meanwhile Bellucci will soon be on the bill Diabolik – Ginko on the attack, Drought AND mafia mom.
