young breakfastknown for being the bassist and founding member of Perras On The Beach, presents his first studio album: “El Lado Fresco de la Almohada”.
The artist, originally from Mendoza and with rock, punk and alternative musical roots, has been part of various projects that have shaped him artistically, so that he finally finds the role where he performs best as a soloist: the field of hip-hop, jazz and funk.
In this plan, he releases “El Lado Fresco de la Almohada”, the first album that has with the participation of artists of the stature of Mobeta (Anderson Paak trumpeter), Machingo Russo (Morbo y Mambo), JoaquĆn Guevara (You Point It To Me), Pablo Cafici, Juan Emilio Cucchiarelli and Catalina, among others.
The album has two extracts, already available: “Puff Puff” and “Ruta 7”, in collaboration with Marki.
“Lo-Fi King” is the key track that accompanies the release of the album, and it is the one that artistically represents the current stage of Joven Breakfast: as its name suggests, it talks about the way music is recycled and reused. Lo-Fi King has the participation of Marcos Valle, who has authorized the use of samples of his hit song “Estrelar”, and in which the carioca nods to Old School rap and its use of samples in funk music, without losing the latina essence.
