Filming of Blue Beetlecinemacomic based on the DC character with the same name, is currently underway and in the past few hours the first video has come out from the set.
This was reported by The Daily Mail and was later shared on Twitter by a Brazilian fan. In the pictures you will see the young attotre Xolo Maridueña wearing a hero costume while performing a stunt. You can see it below:

The film is seen in the direction Angel Manuel Soto while the screenplay is edited by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. The director – known for directing the acclaimed Charm City Kings – in recent months he has expressed all his enthusiasm for being chosen to direct the first cinema starring a Latin American superhero: “It is an honor to direct Blue Beetle, the first film starring a Latin superhero for DC. I would like to sincerely thank everyone at Warner Bros. and DC in trusting me to activate the character. I can’t wait to make history together “.
It is rather Xolo Maridueñsa – Fresh from the success of the series Cobra Kai – to lend a face to Jamie Reyes. The other cast will also see Susan Sarandon in the role of Victoria Kord, Jason Sudeikis in the role of Ted KornRaoul Max Trujillo in the role of Conrad Carapax aka Indestructible People, Bruna Marquezine in the role of Penny, Belissa Escobedo in the role of Milagros Reyes, George Lopez to the uncle Rudy, Adriana Barraza in that of Nana, Elpidia Carrillo in the role of Rocio, Damián Alcázar in the role of Alberto At Harvey GuillĂ©n in a role whose details are still maintained under lock and key. Shooting of the film is currently underway, and no details have been revealed so far.
Blue Beetle is expected simultaneously on the big screen and on HBO Max Aug. 18, 2023.
