Alan Sutton and The Little Creatures of Anxiety don’t hesitate: “Something has to change”

Alan Sutton and Las Criaturitas de la Ansiedad present their new album: “Algo Tiene que Cambiar”.

This is the third studio album by Alan Sutton and Las Criaturitas de la Ansiedad, and it is an invitation to madness, but also to calm.

“It is the solitude that inevitably involves being accompanied and it is the emotional tipping point that has been reached after millennia of evolution of the caveman. It is a unique album but, at the same time, it don’t stop talking about the voice of the collective unconscious It’s the work of friends who share music, neuroses and a common search”, they say.

Composed of 14 songs, “Something Has to Change” is the result of more than two years of work where dozens of people participated.

Faithful to the versatile and eclectic proposal of Las Criaturitas, this disc was born from a work of exploration and play between singer-songwriter Alan Sutton and producer/guitarist Jerónimo Romero, who, despite different research, managed to unify their vision to generate this piece is bipolar and irreverent and at the same time deep and beautiful.

“Everything is constantly changing. Links change and disappear. The years pass on our faces and the fruits left in the fridge end up rotting. So does it make sense to exclaim “Something has to change”? ‘Something has to change’ is a leap of faith, it keeps walking despite existential discomfort, it’s prayer,” Alan explained.

This third album also comes at a pivotal moment for the artist also with regard to his shows. It is that after playing in 2022 at the Vorterix Theater and visiting international lands for the first time, for this 2023 edition, Las Criaturitas will present “Something Has to Change” in more than 20 cities in Argentina and Latin America.
