Idris Elba’s Beast trailer sees him protecting his family from lions, landslides and hunters (OMG!)

Just when you think you’ve seen everything in the timeline of 2022 film premieres , a surprise is coming to brighten your day. Unfortunately for Idris Elba, the surprises The beast Check out his character protecting his family from lions, landslides and (oh my god) poachers! For the man who has fought larger and seemingly more formidable foes on the big screen, it looks like Elba still has a good chance of resisting this fearsome beast.

Dr Nate Daniels (Elba) and his daughters, Meredith (Iyana Halley) and Norah (Leah Sava Jeffries), are still grieving the loss of their family. Seeking to relax and process their pain, the Daniels family embarks on a trip to South Africa that includes a safari with family friend Martin Battles (Sharlto Copley). Before you can say “Simba”, things take a horrible turn when the title of Universal The beast meet the group.

Don’t get me wrong, this lion isn’t looking for a “Hakuna Matata” chant or a discussion of how The Lion King changed between incarnations. As we progress through the trailer, we see that this feline enemy kills for sport; unusual behavior to be sure. To make matters worse, obstacles such as landslides and hunters are introduced to further complicate matters. It looks like this psychotic lion will eat well for the duration of the film.

same stack Livestock evil lion against everything Idris Elba has faced The end of the suicide squad might lead to some interesting questions. While not a giant starfish-style kaiju and Viola Davis’ bureaucratic punch from Amanda Waller, the two fights seem to have parallels. The only problem is you can’t make a lion sing; and you know someone over there tried.

What’s even more interesting is that this film occupies a theatrical property very close to a film sold in the other great Idris Elba trailer of the moment, Three thousand years of nostalgia. Whatever happens, seeing this trailer ending with a take of Idris Elba punching a lion with his bare hands can make viewers think before making a choice. Then again, this might be the perfect call for an Elba double feature!

If we had to guess when this trailer was going to hit theaters, we can almost bet it Jurassic World: Dominion’s The June 10 debut will have that ferocious reel attached to its characteristics. which, considering The end of Jurassic world: fallen kingdom could inspire co-writer / director Colin Trevorrow to develop an intermediate crossover between Roberta the T-Rex and this nameless feline hunter.

you can trace the The beast when the furry enemy hits a cinema near you on August 19th. To see what other upcoming Idris Elba films are still in the books, this information awaits in a jungle of a more digital and less threatening nature.
