In a strange and exciting twist Star Wars Fans, Hayden Christensen returns as Anakin … uh Darth Vader, as he chases the aftermath of Revenge of the Sithfor the new Disney + series Obi-Wan Kenobi, also played by Ewan McGregor. Before seeing how the series unfolds, Christensen discussed Obi-Wan’s decisions afterwards Revenge of the Siththe last chapter of the prequel trilogy.
Gossipify spoke to Hayden Christensen on the red carpet during star wars celebration at the Anaheim Convention Center. During the interview, our Law Sharma asked how Anakin’s story about Tatooine affects his portrayal of Darth Vader in the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series. In the Star Wars actor’s lyrics:
I think Obi-Wan was very clever in bringing Luke (to Tatooine) because he knew Vader would never show up. He has less fond memories of him staying there than he does.
Of course, Hayden Christensen keeps little information so that we can enter the new series without having it All Obi-Wan Kenobi surprise spoiled, especially regarding the return of Anakin Skywalker, now known as Darth Vader. at the end of Revenge of the Sitha charred Anakin donned the mask and became the villain who terrorizes the galaxy in the original trilogy. Obi-Wan Kenobi will tell a story between the events of the two trilogies.
Although there is conflicting information as to whether Anakin Skywalker was actually born on the desert planet of Tatooine, he grew up there before leaving his homeworld to join the Jedi Order at the age of 9. the threat of the Phantom. As an adult, Anakin returned to Tatooine (in attack of the clones) only to find out that his mother has been kidnapped by the Tusken Raiders. When he found her, she died in her arms and, as her pain and his anger consumed him, Anakin slaughtered the entire village of Tusken Raiders. So yeah, “not so good memories” are fine.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi the series, directed by Deborah Chow, tries to tell a “new” and “original” story about Ben Kenobi, according to Chow’s last words to Gossipify . The director shared that it was difficult to tell a story between the Prequel and Original trilogies, but it was a great way to tell a “second act” for the beloved characters. There has been a lot of hatred towards previous films over the years, but lately there is more nostalgia and love towards them. Hayden Christensen said it was “comforting” to see the prequel trilogy get more accolades.
Obi-Wan Kenobi begins on Tatooine, where Ewan McGregor’s character lives on a decade after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and takes care of Anakin’s son, Luke.
