starring Ewan McGregor, Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) reached the Disney+ on May 27 — and it has already set a record. This Tuesday, 31, streaming revealed that the series was the original production Disney+ most watched on its opening weekend.
The platform did not reveal the views numbers, but explained that the series’ record in the universe Star Wars it’s global.

Ewan McGregor lived Obi-Wan in the first three episodes of Star Wars and now returns in a story about the jedi alongside Hayden Christensenin the role of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker. The production is written by Joby Harold and directed by Deborah Chow.
In addition to McGregor and Christensen, cast has Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine and Rory Ross. The series hit streaming on May 27.
