Tomi Lago presents “Red Ink”a contemporary revision of the tango popularized by the Polish Goyeneche in the 70s.
Young and at the same time experienced, Tomi Lago knows and embodies very well the urban scene of Buenos Aireshaving sung tangos in milongas, bodegones, tanguerías and cultural spaces throughout the city of Buenos Aires.
The “Red Ink” of the new twenties is accompanied by a music video made by the production company 4BISMO in the popular district of Pompeya.
Directed by Sebastián Badino Lynch and produced by Alejo Castro, the audiovisual piece depicts a character who longs for his childhood in the neighborhood, a reality that is changing today and foresees a tragic end.
Music lover and passionate about music, Tomi grew up listening to and seeing Charly García, Spinetta and Rubén Juárez live. After a prophetic trip to Paris, he begins to rehearse some tango classics accompanied by Augusto Bellorini on guitar.
