After an extremely eventful production, marked by the violent escapades of Ezra Miller and by the hesitations of Warner Bros. regarding the promotion of the blockbuster, The flash is finally out in theaters. A feature film in which Barry Allen discovers the joys and above all the dangers of the multiverse by going back in time to change the past.

While his first superhero film has just been released, the director is preparing to re-team with Warner and DC. Second varietyAndy Muschietti will direct The brave and the daringwhich will introduce a new Batman in the DC Universe taken over by James Gunn and Peter Safran. The feature film will be inspired by the comics written by Grant Morrison and will focus on a “Bat Family”, made up obviously by Bruce Wayne but also by his son Damian, who he will team up with his father in the Robin costume.

We saw The Flash before he even took the reins at DC Studios, and we knew we had a visionary director there and a huge DC fan as well. The Flash is a beautiful film – funny, moving, thrilling – and Andy’s affinity and passion for these characters and this world resonates in every frame. So when it came time to find a director for The brave and the daringthere was really only one choice.
Currently, the project does not yet have a writer or a cast. The film will have no ties to Robert Pattinson’s franchise. No release date has been announced.
