Sex therapist and social psychologist Justin Lemiller told how to determine who will become the “finalist” – it turns out that it does not depend on the appearance of the girls.

This is… the appointment setting. It is very important whether you are doing something arousing or just sitting around – depending on this he will rate your sex appeal differently. Long legs and perfectly shaped breasts are, of course, great, but studies have shown that there are more important things.

The results of the first were published in the 1970s. The experiment was conducted in Canada: a woman approached a male test subject who was walking along a bridge and asked him to fill out a questionnaire , which included writing a short story on a board. In the end, the girl gave her phone number to the interlocutor and asked him to call that evening.

All test subjects were divided into two groups: some walked along a low, solid bridge, others – along a suspension, swinging and located far from the ground – in other words, seeming very dangerous. It turned out that the guys who walked through the rickety structure wrote more sexualized essays on the painting and called the scientists’ assistant far more often than the people in the first group.

A similar effect was observed in other studies. For example, in another, men were asked to watch a video and rate a student’s sexuality, while some subjects had to run for seconds before that, others for minutes. Those who exercised longer tended to find the girl more attractive.

What is the problem? Scientists believe that in increased heart rate: people simply do not understand why the heart beats more often – because of something really sexual or for other reasons. As a result, men attribute the reasons for their arousal to a person, not a situation.

What is the result? First of all, remember that you always have to consider the context: maybe the new acquaintance is not as attractive as you think, and it is simply the circumstances of your meeting. Second, if you want to impress someone, make the date quirky – chances are you’ll make a lasting impression!
