Festival takes place on June 24 with more than 20 attractions
O Sensational Festival! will be at the Pampulha Ecological Park, next Saturday, June 24th, with two stages, one of which will be dedicated to electronic music, in addition to various experiences such as the Festa da Luz, among many others. On the 23rd of June, at night, there will be the opening of the festival with Gilberto Gil and family.
The event promotes a music and art experience in a large open green space of more than 30 hectares, all designed by the architect Gustavo Penna.
Festival attractions include: Gloria Groove that invites Valesca Popozuda, Marina Sena, Hermeto Pascoal & Grupo, Yago Oproprio invites Creole, Nação Zumbi it presents “manguephony” with Fred 04 (Mundo Livre SA), Fábio Trummer (Eddie Band) and Cannibal (Devotes), Fundo de Quintal invites Leci Brandão, Céu and Flora Matos.
Tickets cost between R$130.00 (half) and R$260.00 (full) and are on sale at shotgun and in Sula
The festival experience also features an indigenous ritual called “Pachamama Paths” that brings singing, dancing and celebration. The ceremony is a multiethnic ritual of indigenous people of Pindorama and from the Andes that invokes the strength of the enchantments of light and honors Mother Earth.
