Shaolin footballa cult comedy about football

Famous in Asia for his extravagant comedies such as Beijing kisses (parody of James Bond), director and actor Stephen Chow only really made itself known in France in the early 2000s. Stephen Chow announces a female version

More than twenty years later, the sequel should finally see the light. It has been announced Stephen Chow on his behalf instagram. In a video, he presents the scenario of Shaolin Women’s Soccer. In Legend, the director has given details with obviously a lot of humor. He explains that he has only one wish for his birthday, “spend unforgettable moments with a large group of young and beautiful girls of different nationalities, beautiful, talented and in excellent physical shape“.

The director will then a female version of it Shaolin football and would be looking for actresses to embody the players. She points out that all nationalities are welcome.

Nothing is known yet about the plot of this one Shaolin Women’s Soccer. So we don’t know if it will be a sequel in the continuity of Shaolin footballwith the return of “Leg of Steel”, which is a spin-off not directly related to the first film.
