Some novels last for years, others only need one evening (and it’s hard to call them novels). Nevertheless, each time you have to do something to indicate that you are no longer together. Here are the situations people most often find themselves in.
1. Ghost
You met, went out somewhere several times, talked well – then he disappeared, did not answer anywhere. And you start to think that he never existed at all and that you dreamed it all up.
2. Lost contact
Looks like you haven’t left. But every day you reply less and less to his messages, and he writes less and less. Gradually, the communication fades and you only communicate when you meet accidentally (and not in time) in the subway.
3. Soulmate
You met at a party, quickly found a common language, chatted half the night, and you’re ready to kiss long and hard… And then he says something you don’t want to hear: for example, he scolds his ex with his last words or brags about avoiding child support. It remains only to escape under a plausible pretext, so as not to waste nerves on all sorts of strange types.
4. Slob
The first meeting went well! But you noticed he’s dressed rather oddly, and it looks like he just walked out of the gym. On the second date, he showed up in shorts two sizes too big, a backwards shirt, and you were too embarrassed to even look at the shoes. Someone won’t pay attention and you won’t want to see each other again.

5. Telephone
Well, there’s not even anything to say here, everyone has met him. You meet recently, you are fed up with him (or something has happened), you consider it your duty to honestly admit and not walk away quietly. But at the same time, you understand that if you see him again, the reaction may be unpredictable. So the phone, the call, “No, you’re very nice, but…”
6.Message
This separation option can be seen as charity, because if you have to chase someone with letters on the screen, that person probably didn’t deserve it either. You’ve met once or twice, he was boring, stupid, or some combination of those qualities, and you can’t bring yourself to call. Usually they don’t respond – or they send 155 messages that you don’t think you need to open.
7. Personal encounter in the style of “Is it really so?”
A joint breakup that can be painful for one or both of you. Someone is crying, someone is silently staring at the ground. After such a breakup, you both become a bit more mature and cynical.
8. Everyone is crying
The most dramatic option, the reason for which is not in the relationship as such. One of the partners is moving or just can’t cope with the feelings, both are in pain, most often both are crying too. In general, the drama as it is.
9. Everyone Screams
One cheated, or the second got a puppy without approval, or someone at some point started behaving inappropriately… As a result, you yell at each other, and on that high note, everything stop.
10. Infinity
You separated. Grievances have been aired, tears have flowed, you’ve deleted yourself from social media… And then you call it out again. Then it to you. You talk, you remember the past and at some point you find yourself in bed. And then it turns out he recently slept with your girlfriend. The resentment, the scandal, the rupture forever. And a year later, he suddenly calls…
