Chris Hemsworth has expressed his pride in his wife’s success through her latest instagram mail. In it, she shared a photo of the famous Netflix movie charts for the United States and Australia. And what was even cuter is that she drew hearts around the icons of Elsa Pataky’s new project, indicating how much she loves her about her and the film about herself. The actress sure looks great with that duct tape around her bicep and she also has some pretty impressive arm muscles. If you look at it Interceptorit becomes quite evident that his character, JJ Collins, is a true counterpart to Chris Hemsworth’s Tyler Rake in Extraction. In fact, now that both Hemsworth householders have had these similar acting roles, I’m dying for a crossover or team between the two.
With this performance, Elsa Pataky may have taken the action star throne from her husband, as the film shows the actress in a whole new and dramatic light. She got super fit for the role and even developed a family workout with her husband. Getting those first places on the streamer leaderboard was supposed to be the icing on the cake. And her husband knows a thing or two about having a # 1 movie, like Extraction he also occupied this place.
As sweet as she is in the film and as popular as she has proven to be, fans commenting on Chris Hemsworth’s post point to a completely different look. Interestingly, Andrew Garfield stole the show a bit. Much of the commentary points out that Garfield’s films were ranked second after that Interceptor in both countries. In the USA, The Incredible Spider-Man sits at number two, while mountain ridge held the same place in Australia. While I’m still ready for Garfield’s praise, honestly, I’m more focused on what Netflix’s algorithm gave Chris Hemsworth Gilmore Girls at the top of their TV recommendations.
But Gilmore Girls and Andrew Garfield aside, it’s pretty surprising that a tough woman ranks first on Netflix in multiple countries. Hopefully this isn’t the last time we see Elsa Pataky in a starring role in a blockbuster movie like this one.
