The series The Idol from the HBO has gained repercussions for its controversies, on the last 30th, it was disclosed by the portal Page Six that the director of the series, Sam Levinsonwould have asked the laughter so that The Weeknd film a rape scene with Lily-Rose Depp.
The unnamed witness would have witnessed the filming of the scene that ended up being cut from the series in the final edit.

According to the source, The Weeknd did not follow the instruction about ejaculation. Levinsonin turn, would be close to the monitor watching the scene laughing and adding lines to the character of abel like: “I own you”. The actors followed the director’s orders, but others in the studio found the scene extremely disturbing.
A second source confirmed that the scene was indeed filmed and added further details: “[A cena foi] originally set up to give Jocelyn a pregnancy scare and ultimately was cut due to plot tweaks, which is a normal part of the creative process for a television series.”
