Many people go on diets for years, constantly crash and start again. Sometimes they manage to hit a significant minus on the scale. But they are unable to rejoice or keep this result. Psychotherapist Anastasia Tomilova calls such people “weight loss professionals” – and believes that they need to work not on weight, but on relationships with people around them. “Professionals” are a very special kind of people who lose weight. It’s not a very big group, but a very brilliant one. They know everything about losing weight, they have tried everything, read everything, but … in moments of mental pain they break down again and again – and they can never keep the result of the diet for long.
