Lovers of luxury sports games will soon be able to get their hands on the collaboration of the year. The long-awaited Adidas x Gucci Fall/Winter 2022 collection will be available online tomorrow and in select stores, with more pieces to be released throughout the year.
Gucci Creative Director Alessandro Michele has for the first time unveiled a 1970s sportswear-inspired capsule on display at Italian fashion house Exquisite Gucci at Milan Fashion Week. Priced from $130 to $3,000, the Crossword Collection includes women’s and men’s apparel, footwear and accessories that blend the heritage of both cult European brands, resulting in cult GG prints in unique silhouettes.
Fashionable swimwear includes three white Adidas stripes and a red and green trifoliate Gucci logo and intricate logo pattern seen on tailors, sports teams, oversized emerald green hoodies, t-shirts, v-neck tees, Gazelle shoes in GG Screen and much more. There are also jumpsuits and jacquard onesies at Studio 54, sweater vests, red pleated pants with matching knit polo shirts, color reversible silk jackets and sporty shorts, belted pants and more.
In addition to Gazelle sneakers ($850) in a variety of colors, the shoe line includes horse-drawn cleats, sandals, brown leather loafers and flats. Accessories and leather goods complete the collection, such as dazzling red travel bags and crossbody bags with adidas Gucci logo, as well as luxury golf dresses, backpacks, bouquet hats, hats, caps and baseball caps. Gym socks (which will undoubtedly be the fastest).
