According to dietitian-nutritionist Olesya Reveko, watermelon fasting days are not just suitable for people with diabetes: they should be limited to 100-200 grams of watermelon pulp per day. To spend a day fasting on a watermelon, you need to divide 1.5-2 kg of pulp into 6 meals during the day. For breakfast, you can combine watermelon with a cup of coffee without sugar or milk. Also, remember to maintain water balance. Despite consuming watermelon, you should be drinking your standard 6-8 glasses of water per day.
