Carlos Vives threw an unforgettable party at the Buenos Aires Arena

Carlos Vives returned to Argentina with a real celebration. In a sold-out Arena stadium, the Colombian was applauded by thousands of supporters as part of his “The Rock of My People Lives” tour, which has already visited Lima and Santiago de Chile before landing in Buenos Aires.

For more than two hours, Vives looks back on three decades of career in a show combining emotion, dance and deep connection with the audience.

From the first chords of “La Gota Fría” and “She is my party”, the place became a dance floor where the energy did not weaken for a second.

The repertoire included great hits such as “Déjame entrada”, “La Bicicleta” and “I want to see you smile”, with a special moment during the performance of “Canción Bonita” with Carlos Baute.

Then, the show takes a more intimate tone before exploding again to the rhythm of the vallenato in a second part which reaffirms the spirit of their tour.

The closing was a collective celebration with “I was born again”, “La Tierra del Olvido”, “Fruta Fresca”, “Robarte un kiss” and “When we see each other again”, songs that triggered the euphoria of the audience.

With over 30 years of experience, 20 albums released and multiple international recognitions (including 18 Latin Grammys, 2 Grammys and the title of Person of the Year 2024), Carlos continues to be an undisputed reference in Latin music.
