Without casts, studios and production companies opted for the airing of episodes as one of the solutions
A san diego comic con, in California, started today and runs until Sunday, the 23rd, but it is emptier compared to previous editions. The reason is the strike of actors and screenwriters that takes place in Hollywood, in the United States. Two unions got together and, among the demands demanded by the movement, is the one that prevents actors from participating in events to promote their work (via Folha de S.Paulo).

Studios, production companies, channels and streaming services such as HBO, Paramount+, hulu, Netflix It is Amazon Prime Video chose to continue at the convention even without the presence of casts. Thematic decoration, videos and exhibition of episodes were some of the solutions found by the organization.
Hollywood unions demand better working conditions, including fairer pay. Although many scripts are ready, the actors’ stoppage gives strength to the movement, since those who adhered will not participate in new shootings or even interviews or red carpets.
The last time actors went on a similar strike was in 1980, for ten weeks. The actors’ and screenwriters’ unions last joined forces in 1960.
