An animated film based on the universe of look at the men

With Watchmen: The Guardiansthe director of 300 is interested in a group of fallen superheroeswhose members self-evolve in an alternate America where Richard Nixon is in his fifth term after winning the Vietnam War.
As the Doomsday Clock announces an imminent nuclear war between the United States and the Soviet Union, one of the team members nicknamed the Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is brutally murdered. His former aide Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) investigates the murder, which leads him to reunite with his old partners: Doctor Manhattan (Billy Crudup), the Silk Specter (Malin Akerman), the Owl (Patrick Wilson), and Ozymandias (Matthew Goode).

If it hasn’t met the expected success in the cinema, Watchmen: The Guardians gradually established itself as one of the most acclaimed superhero films. After its release, fans of the universe especially liked the animated short Watchmen: Tales from the Black Ship as well as the series look at the men produced by HBO and designed by Damon Lindelof, which takes the form ofa sequel to the comic set 30 years later.
This Saturday, July 22, 2023, DC announced that it is preparing a new adaptation of look at the men at San Diego Comic-Con, as reported Collider. This is’an animated film intended for streaming, which is expected to hit screens in 2024. Aside from the fact that the feature film will be R-Rated in the US and therefore promises to be violent, DC hasn’t revealed any more information. It is therefore impossible to say whether this project will resume the plot of the original work or if it will offer a new story.
