Ice Cube commented on how, currently, Kanye West ‘is in a good place’

One of the most controversial figures in the music industry, Kanye West made several anti-Semitic comments in 2022 and was dismissed by lawyers, had a partnership with Adidas canceled and even ceased to be a billionaire. now the rapper ice cube commented how west “learned a lot” after this mess and “is in a good place.”

During an interview on the show Piers Morgan Uncensoredavailable on YouTube, ice cube was asked about the “unstable relationship” with Kanye West. In the conversation, the rapper confirmed how he met with the rapper “a few weeks ago.”

“I mean, we’ve always been cool, you know. He just said my name without really explaining what it meant,” he stated. “And I really couldn’t let that statement go without… he never explained what he meant. So I had to refute that.”

Right away, ice cube explained how he believes that “yes understands that generalizing will always put you in more trouble than being too specific.” Then, the singer was asked about the way in which west deals with the controversy.

I believe he is doing very well. He’s still dealing with some people trying to hold on to his money. But for the most part, I believe he’s in a good space.

“I think he’s learned a lot in the last year and I hope he does better on the other side. I felt that if he was really upset about specific people, the message he was saying would hijack what he’s really upset about,” he continued.

And that’s more or less what happened. You just can’t generalize – you have to be specific, especially if you’re talking about anyone or any race of people.
