A piece : the manga comes in live series on Netflix
The release of the live series A piece approximate. The adaptation of the famous manga by Netflix is expected and feared by fans. Because so far the manga adaptations offered by the platform have not really convinced. As with cowboy bebopunveiled in 2021 and which will have been entitled to only one season.
But with A piece, it’s a different story. Remember that the work ofEiichiro Oda has been around for over 20 years and has been sold to more than 516 million copies. What is added the anime which contains more than 1000 episodes!

As in the original work, the A piece The Netflix version will go live Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy), a young adventurer who wishes to get his hands on a legendary treasure called “One Piece” and which will allow him to become the king of the pirates. The boy will then reunite the Straw Hat crewconsisting of Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar), and embarks on an adventure.
Garp is already revealing himself!
We had been able to discover Luffy and his team in the first trailers, as well as several secondary characters. Through your account ChirpingNetflix unveiled new images of his series A piece. And there, surprise! Fans will no doubt recognize him garpthe vice-admiral of the Navy who will then be played by Vincent Regan.
You can see it in the second and fourth images below:
His presence may surprise because, in the manga, it was necessary to wait for chapter 92 of the manga, and episode 68 of the anime, to find out. We could then have thought which would not be present before a possible season 2. But of course the character will have already important in the first few episodes. See even if her bond with Luffy remains the same and is announced from the beginning (like in the anime).
The other characters in these images are the first Stem (whom we recognize from the red hair), then Helmepp and Kobby accompanying Garp. These are interpreted respectively by Peter Gadiot, Aidan Scott and Morgan Davies.
Series A piece will be discovered on Netflix from August 31st.
