The saga John Wick moves to the 70s
After four films worn by Keanu Reeves, the universe of John Wick will continue to grow with The Continental. This time it will be on the small screen since it is a series composed by three episodes of 90 minutes each. Also, there will be no question of Baba Yaga in this program, since the series is a prequel to the saga.
Direction the 70s so and, as the title suggests, the narrative will largely take place at the Continental Hotel in New York. This sacred place where John Wick could get help from Winston. It is also this which will be the focus of the series, while just discovering the Continental.
The Continental : Winston grappling with the trailer
The first teaser that was unveiled didn’t offer much on the story that will follow. But with the new trailer (video in an article)we discover that the young man will have to confront himself first Cormac, played by Mel Gibson. The latter will explain to him that his brother got into trouble by stealing something from Cormac. And it’s up to Winston to correct his mistake.
For this, Winston (Colin Woodell) will find allies, but also to be many enemies. Which therefore promises us an explosive series with a pack of guns placed in the hands of the world’s worst killers.

The Continental: A former Supergirl in the John Wick prequel
The most interesting thing about this trailer is that we notice it the tone of the series should be very different from that of the films. If John Wick is rather dark and serious, with touches of irony all the same, it cannot be said that the hero is a big joke. Unlike Winston, much funnier than it can be seen in The Continental.
The series will air September 22nd on Peacock in the United States. In France, Prime Video should be responsible for publishing The Continental.
