Liam Cunningham, known for playing Ser Davos in Game of Thrones, hopes to return to the franchise for Jon Snow spin-off
Liam Cunninghamknown for interpreting Ser Davos in game of Thrones (2011), hopes that the partnership between his character and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) stick to Snowa Targaryen-focused derivative – not yet officially approved by HBO.
In an interview with dan of geekthe actor said that, although he has not been officially invited to participate in the production, he has already signaled his interest to Kit. “I sent an SMS [para Kit] with ‘Better Call Davos,'” he said, referencing the Better Call Saulsuccessful derivative of breaking bad.
But so far I haven’t heard anything. I wish the best of luck to whoever is involved in this, and if the check is big enough I should show up.”
cunningham interpreted Ser Davos Seaworth in game of Throneswho was one of 37 characters to survive the hit series that ran for eight seasons on HBO, airing a divisive ending in 2019. The Hollywood Reporter reported that a spin-off of game of Thrones(2011) focused on Jon Snowwith Kit Harington reprising his beloved character.
George RRMartinauthor of the books that inspired the series, later confirmed the series in a blog post, announcing that the show’s working title is called Snow. Martin added that the spin-off, which was the idea of Haringtonthere is no official green light from HBO – after the merger of the station with discovery in April of this year.
although the prequel House of the Dragon (2022), has been renewed for a second season, Martin pointed out that other projects in development are not as “immutable”. Snowis one of the few “Game of Thrones” spin-offs currently in development at HBO.
