“Zumbiverse” is the new reality show Netflix, where 10 South Korean celebrities were selected to participate in an alleged dating program, but soon after discover that they were thrown into a zombie apocalypse in the city of Seoul that is being devastated by these beings.

Despite being a simulation, that doesn’t lessen the intensity of the frightening experience. Before each episode, a notice is played informing that the participants are aware that they are participating in a controlled and simulated environment.

To “survive” they need to use intelligence to escape infested areas, find shelter and supplies, finding a zombie can be fatal, as they are subject to attacks, bites and being infected.

While some manage to have fun even in the midst of chaos, like presenter Noh Hong-chul, others despair in the face of the danger and risk of turning into zombies and being eliminated from the game.

  • Jonathan and Patricia Yiombi, Congolese brothers, who are famous youtubers in South Korea;
  • Yoo Hee-kwan, Korean league baseball player;
  • Dex, television celebrity from South Korea and former contestant of the reality show “Singles, Alone and Desperate”;
  • Kwachu-Hyung/Hong Seong-woo, South Korean urologist and YouTuber.
