The production of the epic will be divided into two parts, the first will be released on Netflix later this year
A Netflix announced last Tuesday (22), the first teaser of Rebel Moon, an epic new work directed by Zack Snyder which will be divided into two parts. Science fiction takes place in an intergalactic colony, which is being threatened by the forces of a tyrannical leader.
The plot deals with a young woman with an “obscure” past who searches for warriors from neighboring planets to help her in the fight against this leader. the cast of rebel moon has names like Sofia Boutella (The Mummy), Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy), Djimon Hounsou (Shazam! Fury of Gods), Doona Bae (Sense8), Ray Fisher (Justice League), Jena Malone (The Hunger Games), Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House), Alfonso Herrera (Ozark) and Corey Stoll (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania).
Written by Zack Snyder with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad (300). The first part of the epic is called “The Fire Girl”,and is scheduled to debut on Netflix on December 22nd. The second part, called “The Scar Marker”, should be released in April 2024.
