Harry Potter : the beginning of the career of many actors and actresses
Novels Harry Potter written by JK Rowling became a big hit after publication. But the universe created by the Briton gained popularity with film adaptations. Back in 2001, Warner Bros. came out Harry Potter at the Philosopher’s Stonedirected by Chris Colombo. The feature film then made it possible to discover young actors with, in the main roles, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron) and Emma Watson (Hermione).

Among the secondary roles, we remember Ginny Weasley, Ron’s sister who gains prominence as the feature films progress. Eventually we discover her as an adult too, married to Harry and mother of three children. This is Bonnie Wright who plays him in the eight films produced. The actress toured a bit afterwards. She has also excelled behind the camera by directing short films and music videos.
Bonnie Wright is anxious as she plays Ginny
Harry Potter it remains an important part of his life. But Bonnie Wright doesn’t look like it not enjoying her role as Ginny so much. That’s what he said on the podcast Inside you by Michael Rosenbaum (via Expiration) highlighting how few scenes Ron’s sister has in the movies. The actress had very few replies to bring the character to life, yet so constructed in the novels, that it was then a source of anxiety for her.
I think there was some anxiety about playing and doing my best based on my character structure. I wondered if I could do justice to this character that people love. It was always difficult, especially when, inevitably, many scenes of each character were cut between the book and the film.

In order to adapt the novels into films of about two hours, many passages had to be cut. Bonnie Wright is therefore well aware that she is not the only one who has had a reduced role compared to her books. But she left just the same he felt frustrated.
It was a bit disappointing at times, because some parts of the character weren’t emphasized, for lack of enough scenes. Made me a little anxious or just frustrated I guess.
One line dialogue to start
Bonnie Wright insists on the lack of answers she had to give to bring Ginny back to life. She says so originally for the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stonenormally it shouldn’t not even speak once. Finally, Chris Columbus decided to give it to her a reply.
The first line of dialogue I received in the film, which was literally one line, was given to me that same day. (Director Chris Columbus) told me, ‘I think you need a line’ which is the ‘good luck’ I say to Harry.

The treatment given to Ginny is one of the regrets that many fans have had on seeing the films. Harry Potter. And even if she’s not responsible, Bonnie Wright has been living together for some time fear of disappointing the publicwhich viewers believe was the reason for Ginny’s minimal role.
I feel like my anxiety maybe related to the fact that I would be perceived as a bad performer of this character. Only later did I realize that I wasn’t really given the opportunity to show what I could do. So it wasn’t really my fault.
Even if the movies Harry Potter successful and very significant, it is true that many elements have been taken away from the novels. But since then fans will soon have the opportunity to see a more faithful adaptationa series has been announced.
