Jonathan Cohen is everywhere
At the moment, almost everything has touched Jonathan Cohen turns into a small cult phenomenon. First in 2020 with The flamethe Bachelor parody by Canal+ in which the actor stars Sign, the idiotic, heavy-handed bachelor of the show. Soon, the comedy made its mark on viewers thanks to Marc’s absurdities.
Next it was Koh Lanta that had its own parody The Torch: The Adventurers of Chupacabra (2022)Following The flame again with Marc and other characters.
And when it’s not on Canal+, it’s on First Video that Jonathan Cohen makes viewers laugh as during season 3 of LOL: whoever laughs, goes out! (2023). We find him again in an absurd comedy on Prime Video with Sentinelavailable on the platform from 8 September.
A sequel later The flame AND The torch
It looks like Jonathan Cohen isn’t done with Marc and may very well face him again next The flame AND The torch. This is what the actor says into the microphone RTL (through First):
This is new, we are working on something where we will find some of the cast. We might find the troop again. I was in a meeting earlier, we’re working on it.
A “season 3” of the creation of Canal+ it would therefore be in the preparation phase, but according to the actor it is just starting out. We don’t know what kind of show might be parodied this time, but we’ll have to choose carefully to speak to as many people as possible.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Cohen can be found on Prime Video with Sentinela crime comedy in which he plays inspector, also singer in his spare time. The film is directed by Hugo Benamozig and David Caviglioli, who had already collaborated with the actor in Terrible jungle AND The torch.
