Britney Spears got married in a dress signed by Versace, the Italian brand also responsible for Sam Asghari’s tuxedo
Britney Spears married Sam Asghari this Thursday, the 9th, in Los Angeles, California, with a custom Versace dress that took 700 hours to make. The ceremony took place at the singer’s home in Thousand Oaks and was attended by several celebrities, such as Madonna, Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore.
According to CNN Brazil, spears let slip that the dress would be by the Italian label in a deleted Instagram post last year, where he wrote: “Versace is making my dress as we speak.” Donatella Versacecreative director of the brand, confirmed the information this Friday, 10, revealing that she was also responsible for the tuxedo of Asghari.

“Designing the wedding dress of the Britney It was a dream. Didn’t she look beautiful in it?,” she wrote. Donatella on Instagram. “The dress is crafted in a delicate white silk caddy and features a portrait neckline that wraps around the shoulders and comes along with a stream of pearl buttons.”
In another publication, the stylist commented: “Designing the wedding clothes of Britney and Sam it came naturally to me. An enormous amount of love was put into every detail. Together with our Atelier, we created a dress and tuxedo that exude elegance and glamour. They are just perfect together!”

Donatella, who was also invited to the ceremony, made a point of showing her affection for the singer: “Since we met, Britney always had a very special place in my heart. Seeing her free, happy and now getting married puts a smile on my face.”
According to Vogue, spears wore three more outfits throughout the night, all signed by Versace. The singer wore a red mini dress, a black one and a two-tone outfit.
