Mau and Ricky usher in a new era by releasing “Vas a Destrozarme”, their long-awaited single.
The song, which surprises with a new sound, tells the story of a forbidden love that cannot be stopped.
“You’re going to destroy me” is the first single from the Montaner brothers’ upcoming album, entitled “Hotel Caracas”.
The project was created alongside GRAMMY®-winning producer Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde, Zayn), multi-platinum recording artist JP Saxe, and in collaboration with his trusted producer, JonTheProducer, award-winning a Latin GRAMMY®.
“The release of “Vas a Destrozarme” symbolizes the beginning of “Hotel Caracas”, an album and a project that excites us more than ever,” said Mau and Ricky.
And they added: “The song is about a forbidden but inevitable love from an honest, fragile and vulnerable point of view. Malay’s minimalist production surprises later with trumpets inspired by the music of Banda Mexicana which intensify this feeling of despair. Welcome to the Caracas Hotel!”
Additionally, the song is signed by Why Club Records, Mau and Ricky’s label, in collaboration with Warner Music Latina.
