Orphan Black: Echoes is scheduled to debut in 2024
Orphan Black: Echoesseries derived from OrphanBlackshown between 2013 and 2017 and starring Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes), won its first preview. In the images, we see Lucylived by Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), waking up without understanding where she is and discovering that she is involved in a new cloning project.
In the new feature, which is scheduled to debut in 2024 on AMC+, AMC’s streaming platform, we follow the lives of men and women, who intersect as they seek to unravel the mystery about their identity, in a plot that involves genetic manipulation and other dubious scientific advances. OrphanBlack told the story Sarah Manning (Maslany), a British orphan, who saw her life change after witnessing a woman identical to her take her own life in a train station. Soon, she decides to assume the identity of the deceased to discover the mystery behind her origin, which leads her to discover a big secret.
With Anna Fishko (Noone can know, Fear the Walking Dead) as showrunner and John Fawcett, creator of the original series, as executive producer and director, Orphan Black: Echoes still brings Avana Jogia (The Choices of Love), Tattawna Jones (The Handmaid’s Tale), Amanda Fix (Daisy Jones & The Six), Alexandra Castilho (In the Name of Heaven), Izad Etemadi (Revenge of the Black Best Friend),Keeley Hawes (Game Security), James Hiroyuki Liao (The Dropout), Jonathan Whittaker (The Expanse) It is Reed Diamond (Moneyball – The Man Who Changed The Game) in the cast.
