Danny DeVito wants to narrate classic film with Mara Wilson with live score by composer David Newman

Some 27 years later, the director Danny DeVito plans a franchise meeting with the participation of Mara Wilsonthe protagonist of the film.
During an interview with TheMessenger, DeVito revealed how to include Wilson at the Matilda in Concertfor which the duo will narrate the production with a live soundtrack by the composer David Newman. “Mara and I were planning to perform Matilda live with the New Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra just before the strike,” she said.
We had everything worked out, but after the strike we couldn’t proceed because it would be seen as a promotion for a film.
“However, we are still planning to do so,” the artist continued. “Let’s watch the film with the soundtrack of David Newman and try to do it soon, because it looks like the strike may be coming to an end – I hope!”
