Stranger Things: the end is coming
Stranger things, the phenomenon series launched on Netflix in 2016, is preparing to release its fifth season and fans are very excited. Ever since its debut, the series has captured hearts with its clever mix of suspense, science fiction and 80s nostalgia. The Duffer brothers, creators of the series, have built a rich and captivating universe, telling the supernatural adventures of a group of children in Hawkins, a small fictional town in Indiana. The statement of discord
While he owes his (short) career to her Stranger things, Millie Bobby Brown seems to be in a hurry to leave her Eleven character behind. After declaring that it was like “leaving high school after graduating high school,” the young actress confided an interview given to Glamor Magazine (via Variety) who felt the series was now preventing her from thriving in other projects:
When we’re ready, we say, “Here we are, let’s face this last year of high school.” It’s time to move on’ (…) Stranger Things’ is very demanding in terms of filming and this prevents me from dedicating myself to stories that I really care about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you for everything and see you again.’
he said, adding Stranger things he had given her the tools and resources to become a better actress.
This statement is far from unanimous among fans of the series, who believe that she is not sufficiently grateful to the show that made her a star. Nor towards the spectators who followed the programme. Indeed, one might imagine that by saying this she is indicating that Stranger thingshe is no longer close enough to him.
