After years of trying to put his film together, Michael Mann I finally got through Ferrari. A biopic dedicated to Enzo Ferrari, the famous Italian car manufacturer, founder of the Ferrari brand. After being a pilot, he worked at Alfa Romeo before founding it Scuderia Ferrari in 1929. If today the brand is famous, especially thanks to its numerous victories in Formula 1, the businessman’s path was difficult, and that is what the director intends to show with this film.

After Wings (2002), Michael Mann then returns to the biographical genre. But his film is expected to focus largely on the personal life of Enzo Ferrari (Adam Driver), with his wife Laura played Penelope Cruzand his lover Lina Lardi, played by Shailene Woodley. The first teaser already hinted at it, while the trailer has just been revealed (video on the first page of the article) emphasizes the dramatic aspect more.

Tragedy and car racing

A tragedy, in fact, struck Enzo Ferrari the death of his son Dino, on June 30, 1956 at the age of 24. An event which, as we can see in these images, will upset her relationship. Penélope Cruz appears moving and real emotion emerges from this Ferrari trailer.
