Three years after Marvel’s cinematic world, Chris Evans has just revealed how much weight he has lost since Captain America resigned.
After 8 years of dedicated service in Captain America costume and 9 appearances in Marvel’s cinematic world, Chris Evans handed over the torch (and shield) to the Anthony Mack Avengers: the last game in 2019.
Since then the actor has continued his career and lost a few pounds. Indeed, before he underwent intense training to be able to play a super soldier on screen for several years, Evans allowed himself to spend a little less time gaining weight.
While he will be casting for Buzz Lighter in the next feature film from Pixar Studios (next week in theaters), he recently considered this physical change when journalist Kevin Polov asked him if leaving Captain America relieved him of his gravity.
“I literally lost weight”– The actor answered. “I have gained almost 7 kilos. Every time they see me like that, they ask me:” Are you okay? Lose weight. ”Yes, I did not need to go to the gym.
Chris Evans also took the opportunity to return to his experiences in the Marvel family: an adventure that meant a lot to him and that he missed after leaving:
“It is different. For 10 years, you always have to make a movie, you finish one and then . Your life is planned: 6 months in the press, 6 months after the movie … There is something pleasant in the fact of taking off and something else that I miss very much. Because it was a role that meant a lot to me. I liked these people very much. “These ten years will forever remain the best in my professional life, without a doubt.”
By the time he appears on Buzz Lightyear next week, Chris Evans has already seemed to take off again, continuing a pleasant journey that will take him to the Stones of Infinity … and beyond!
