Netflix: new films online (week of 23 to 29 October)
After a rather light last week in terms of cinematic news, Netflix gets to work at the end of October, with several feature films that should be talked about. So after that Correctness which was a success on the platform, is a new erotic thriller, Waiting to be betrayed, which is expected to quickly reach the top. In this Brazilian film scheduled for October 25th, an accountant, betrayed by her boyfriend, sees in this betrayal the perfect opportunity for a sexual awakening, with dark consequences. Let’s switch gears with a new film that promises to be perfect for this Halloween period: The orders of evil (Sister Death), scheduled for October 27. For connoisseurs, this is the prequel to the horror feature film,Veronica, released in January 2018. Also directed by Paco Plaza, it is set in a post-war Spanish convent. A novice, Narcisa, endowed with supernatural powers, goes to the factory to give lessons. October 27th is still highly anticipated Merchants of pain (Bread pushers), worn by Emily Blunt and Chris Evans, coming to Netflix. Directed by David Yates (Harry Potter), tells the story of a broke but ambitious single mother who finds herself employed by a Florida pharmaceutical startup which markets a powerful painkiller. He soon finds himself at the center of a criminal plot.
