Resource will arrive in Brazil by the end of 2024
Crunchyroll will have the titles integrated into Prime Video later this week in Canada, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States. Brazilians will be covered by the resource until the end of 2024. The partnership is part of Prime Video Channels, an initiative that allows access to catalogs of other streaming services with the payment of an additional fee. It is now possible to watch Paramount+ productions, for example, through the Amazon app.
Subscribers will be able to choose between the Fan and Mega Fan plans. Both eliminate ads, but only the second will allow downloading for offline viewing, in addition to other benefits not yet disclosed.
With this new feature, Prime Video could go head to head with other streaming services, such as Netflix, with anime in mind. Crunchyroll publishes and distributes East Asian media and has more than 24,000 hours of content, which also includes manga.
