Philip Baker Hall has appeared in over 180 films and TV shows; cause of death not revealed
Phillip Baker Hallan actor known for films such as Risk Play (1996) and Magnolia (1999), died at age 90. The news was released this Monday, 13, by Sam Farmerfriend of the star and journalist from Los Angeles Times.
“My neighbor, friend, and one of the wisest, most talented, and kindest people I have ever met, Philip Baker Hall died peacefully last night. He was surrounded by loved ones. The world has an empty space in it,” he wrote farmer on twitter.

The cause of death was not disclosed, but hall suffered from emphysema, in part as a result of contracting pneumonia as a child. Due to the illness, the actor could only film a few minutes at a time towards the end of his career.
hall has 185 film and TV show credits according to IMDB. Among the actor’s most famous works are Magnolia,The Informant (1999), Almighty (2003), Zodiac (2007), Curse words (2013) and Boogie Nights (1997). hall also participated in Seinfeld (1989) and Modern Family (2009).
