It’s a danceable and catchy single, which fits into RKT, the genre that is making waves on the current urban scene. And it fuses elements of reggaetón, hip-hop or trap and cumbia.
The song is accompanied by a video in which Lauty plays the role of a young man looking for work. In the end he succeeds and he falls in love with his boss, alluding to the single’s title.
As the story progresses and with the last shot, we realize that the entire clip was the imagination of the protagonist himself.
There is no doubt that Lauty Gram is a promising urban artist who does not rest and continues to monopolize the dance floor with his hits. And “Mayor Que Yo” has everything to add to this list.
