The Killer: David Fincher returns to his loves
After a short detour through the historic black and white film with Mank in 2020, David Fincher returns to the sources of evil with The killer, a neo-noir thriller about a cold-blooded hitman played by Michael Fassbender. In this feature film inspired by the French graphic novel The killerwe follow a methodical assassin who has always scrupulously followed “the plan” to complete his missions.
However, an internal turning point it pushes him to question his actions, putting him in direct conflict with his sponsors. This confrontation leads him into a spiral of violence throughout the world.
November 10 on Netflix
Once again, Fincher is teaming up with Netflix for this project, which is scheduled for release on the platform next November 10th. Alongside Michael Fassbender we notably find Tilda Swinton in a mysterious role.
