Auction held by Propstore will feature around 1800 items from TV series and films that marked the era
One of the highlights of the auction that will sell around 1,800 items from iconic horror films is the Freddy Kruegerlegendary character from the franchise The nightmare time originally performed by Robert Englund.
According to information from the The Guardian, the item is expected to be sold for £400,000, approximately R$2.4 million at the current price. In addition to the gloves with blades for fingers, the buyer will receive an original hand-drawn design of the piece.
With the expectation of raising £12 million (R$72.7 million) in total, the auction is carried out by Propstore and will take place on November 9, 2023. For example, it will also feature items from The illuminated (1980) and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). “Just under 1,800 lots of rare props, costumes and musical memorabilia will be auctioned, including items from over 550 films and TV shows and a selection of over 190 musical lots,” the description reads.
