One of the biggest brands at San Diego Comic Con is Funko, a pop culture company known for its seemingly endless array of vinyl figures.
The company physically has one of the biggest performances through its installation, a huge and sophisticated display of figurines and bushes, in addition to the biggest sculptures in pop culture. And it’s also one of the most popular locations at the San Diego Convention Center, due to the company’s Comic-Con essentials exclusives. Along with companies like Mattel and Lego, Funko produces exclusive franchises for which fans queue and wait for hours.
Funko will return to Comic-Con this summer (Funkoville is this year’s theme, with an impressive area filled with cinemas, supermarkets, coffee shops, Loungefly boutiques and Mondo stores) and heat Vision Take a look at the DC exclusives he has to offer.
First up in the POP Heroes lineup is DC’s Justice League – Starfire (yes, she’s a teen titan, but she’s classified here under the extended Justice League umbrella). The four-inch-tall vinyl figures will have an exclusive 2022 Summer Convention decal or 2022 San Diego Comic-Con decal in the box and will be limited to one piece per family.
The company has a popular line, called Vinyl Soda, with figures that come in a retro-looking soda can. At Comic-Con, Funko is introducing one based on Larflize, the villainous Green Lantern, who is the only member of the Orange Corps. An exclusive 4.1-inch-tall Larfleeze Funko Soda vinyl figure is part of a limited number of 5,000 items. But wait, there’s more: one of the sixth boxes will be the Chase variant, equipped with a Larfleeze battery. Like the Starfire, the item will have an exclusive Summer Convention 2022 or San Diego Comic-Con 2022 sticker on its packaging. And again, that would mean you’d have to spend for those processes.
Finally, there’s POP Rides: Batman Returns – The Penguin and Duck Ride, a web-exclusive limited edition. Inspired by Tim Burton Batman returns In the film, a cruel penguin arrives on wheels with a yellow duck, along with several traveling penguins. It is about 6.14 inches tall and the customer can buy two pieces per family.
